  • He has over 19 years experience in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Administration & Corporate Governance in public and private sector and will use his expertise in public and private sector to position KICC and Kenya beyond conferencing, a move that will translate to revenue growth for the Corporation.

    He holds an MBA Finance and a BBA (Accounting and Finance) He further holds an LLB, CPA (K) as well as CPS (K)

  • CPA Samuel Waweru Mwangi is the Chairperson of Kenyatta International Convention Centre. 
  • Prior to joining the Corporation, Mwangi has served as head of Finance in various Corporates. 
  • Mwangi is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in accounting, financial management, and operations.
  • He holds a Master of Science in Finance and Investment from and a Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting and Finance) from KCA University. 
  • He is a certified Public Accountant and a certified Investment and Financial Analyst (CIFA). He is also a member of ICPAK
  • Mwangi boasts of a proven track record in overseeing financial operations, managing budgets, and conducting detailed financial analyses.
  • He is also a successful entrepreneur.
  • His vast expertise in financial performance and management coupled with his leadership skills will be instrumental in steering Kenya’s MICE sector to even greater
    heights.
